Falling water

Karen and I went camping up around Lake Huron this past weekend. We did a fair amount of canoeing and what not... which was great... except I didn't have my camera along for most of it. I did, however, get to grab a few shots of the, not so spectacular, Sauble Falls. These are those photos.

Doing things.

I've been doing things. These things have kept me quite busy for the last little while. I've been here, there, nowhere close to everywhere... but I'll gladly go anywhere. Anyways, here are some photos... I haven't much else to post here as of now. As always, check out:

The Second Hand Band @ the Corktown

Took the train into Hamilton last Saturday to take some photos of Pete Vandyk & his band at the Corktown Tavern. Good show. Good hangouts. Terrible weather.

Travis Caine ft. Ryan Barwing - Blanket of Ghosts (Dustin Kensrue cover)

This impromptu performance was filmed one night during Travis Caine and Pete Vandyk's "Ontario Howlin' Tour". We were staying the night at Ryan Barwin's (who you'll see playing a mean dobro) after the Ottawa date. The tour was a wonderful time spent sharing songs, stories and jugs of wine.

So... My "band" Rude Leaves is currently planning some plans with fellow songwriters Zachary Aasman & Pete Vandyk. It's exciting... so get fucking excited. You don't have to get excited, I suppose. You should get something though. I am assuming you're plaid shirt is too tight to allow you to get anything. Maybe it's real flannel... in which case... you might get a tad itchy.
Things are still in the planning stage... More information will develop soon.

I am too excited to sleep.

Also: This is the only reason anyone should be playing music. If you play music for some other reason... you clearly don't get it. At all.
